Leads and sustains process and quality improvements across manufacturing and operations to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Supervises Optimizers and serves as a key link between Helpdesk, field teams, logistics, and production. Translates operational feedback into root-cause solutions that improve efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
· Supervise and develop Optimizers, setting priorities and ensuring accountability
· Assign and track improvement and root-cause initiatives
· Coach on problem-solving, data analysis, and shop-floor engagement
Process & Quality Improvement
· Identify and lead initiatives to reduce defects, rework, delays, and variation
· Partner cross-functionally to implement corrective and preventive actions
· Ensure improvements are standardized, documented, and sustained
Quality & Feedback Integration
· Analyze Helpdesk and operational feedback to identify trends and recurring issues
· Convert insights into actionable improvement projects
· Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and prevent recurrence
Execution & Metrics
· Use structured problem-solving methods (RCA, PDCA, standard work)
· Track KPIs (quality, efficiency, downtime, on-time delivery)
· Audit and sustain improvements; escalate key risks as needed
Cross-Functional Engagement
· Maintain strong shop-floor presence
· Collaborate with operators, technicians, and leadership
· Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Qualifications
· Experience in manufacturing, logistics, quality, or operations
· Supervisory or process improvement leadership experience
· Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
· Ability to drive cross-functional improvements
