What You Will Do
The Commercial Engines Production Operations Team is seeking an Operational Commercial Engines (OPC) Production Chief to ensure industrial plans and supportability for Pratt & Whitney internal & external shops for Operational Commercial Engines (OCE) legacy programs.
Focal will lead a team that works to identify, quantify and drive industrial risk mitigation.
Drive alignment with production and aftermarket requirements.
Be the customer interface for reporting industrial plans, part recovery and will lead the OCE programs industrial reviews with IPMT.
Partner with the Program office to collectively achieve program industrial milestones/objectives to support fleet and shop visit needs
Works across Partners & P&W to resolve current part shortages.
Drive a holistic part supply solution accounting for factors such as “used serviceable” part availability, 3rd party material providers, repair yields, etc.
Maintains robust processes to communicate part delivery commits.
Develop weekly Heat Maps that identifies & quantifies part risks.
Interface with respective executives relative to issue mitigation, as required.
Interface with Aftermarket to maintain a five-year spare part forecast
Develop systemic approach to evaluate potential/future part shortages and implement early action to preclude such part shortages
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree and minimum 12 years in an engineering, manufacturing/shop operations, quality, supply chain, or closely related field OR a Master's degree and 10 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing/shop operations, quality, supply chain or closely related field
Demonstrated experience in program management
Demonstrated experience in developing relationships; able to develop credibility and respect with individuals at all organizational levels
Skilled at leading and managing a technical team; developing credibility and respect with individuals at all organizational levels
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Qualifications We Prefer:
Degree in a STEM field
Technical experience in engineering change management and implementation
Experience using process control/ Six-Sigma and/or Lean manufacturing tools
SAP

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
