About the role and your key responsibilities
As an Operational Buyer at our plant in Osted, you will be responsible for the tactical/operational purchasing for our Infusion Care division in Osted. You’ll have the overall responsibility for keeping our raw materials available at the committed service levels in the factory as well as managing the inventory and targets within it.

Other responsibilities in this role include:

• Purchase order execution and management with our external suppliers, to keep the right materials in the right quantity at the right time in the factory in Osted.
• Supporting the production planning for the factory in Osted.
• Monitor and act upon exceptions of these materials in terms of unavailable, overdue Purchase orders and alert messages.
• Monitor and evaluate the planning settings of the materials.
• Manage the financial invoice discrepancies.
• Manage supplies between the factory in Osted and the factory in Reynosa.
• Taking the lead on the area – knowing on a top level what is driving the unavailable materials, issues regarding capacity constraints, mold breakdowns and other supplier specific challenges.
• Participating in projects, regarding changes in variants or new variants, securing a smooth launch of these with least inventory impact.
• Secure a sustainable and productive cooperation with the suppliers, including managing the forecast monthly.
• Secure a sustainable and productive relationship with all the other stake holders, having an interface to this role.

You will report to Manager of Supply Chain Planning and the work location is in Osted, Denmark, south of Roskilde.

About you

• An experienced candidate with excellent communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills and a high degree of business acumen as well as string SAP experience, preferable a SAP super user.
• You understand that key contributing factors to success are collaboration - and at the same time deliver high quality and timely solutions and deliverables.
• You are well structured and methodological and know when to execute and delegate, and how to make right prioritizations.
• You are fluent in Danish and English, both written and verbal.

Qualifications

• Purchasing experience, with a strong understanding of supply chain and logistics
• Ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Ability to work with people/teams in a complex, changing environment, to deliver value-added results to the business.
• Demonstrable experience of SAP.
