Operation and Support (Client Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Support) Intern

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for 2026/2027 graduates to join our internship program. The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Markets (Markets). When owners and managers of institutional assets need research, trading, securities lending and innovative portfolio strategies, they turn to Markets business unit. As our investment research and trading arm, Markets’ number one goal is to enhance and preserve our clients’ portfolio values by applying technology, optimizing trading, and linking asset classes and markets across the world.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Client Reporting: Work on regularly scheduled and ad hoc reporting for both internal and external clients. Make delivery of prepared reports to the clients, Relationship Manager(RM), or Management according to SOPs. Responsible for report creation (maker).
  • Regulatory Reporting: Follow procedures to process regulatory reporting works; Monitor and investigate exceptions; Timely escalate where necessary; Identify opportunities of process improvement; Consolidate internal documentation where necessary.
  • Risk governance and other internal support: Provide ad hoc support to management, internal teams where necessary for information collection, data consolidation, project coordination etc.

  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills.
  • Detail oriented and strong ability of learning
  • Solid knowledge in financial market and instruments, including OTC derivatives, equity, fixed income, swap, , etc.
  • Strong English communication (especially written) and presentation skills to audiences of different sizes and levels of seniority.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or above, graduate in 2026/2027.
  • Degree in Accounting,  Finance, Economy or related field is an asset.
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written) in English.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel). SQL reading and using skill will be a plus
  • Organized and Deadline-driven.

Additional requirements:

  • This is a short-term intern program only for 2026/2027 graduates who can work since Jan 2026 with at least 3 days per week.
  • We do not guarantee to convert to Full Time Employee, and interns with excellent performance will be provided priority to be converted to regular employee, if FTE headcount available after graduation.
