Job Description:

DESCRIPCCIÓN DEL PUESTO – Operador de pilotadora (SP)

Operador de Pilotadora para la ejecución de perforaciones profundas de cimentaciones especiales mediante el uso de pilotadoras rotativas de gran capacidad, tales como BAUER BG36, Liebherr LB45 o equipos de características equivalentes.

El puesto implica la operación de maquinaria de gran tonelaje para la construcción de Drilled Shafts de gran diámetro, incluyendo diámetros superiores a 1.5 m (5ft), utilizando camisas recuperables (temporary casing) y técnicas avanzadas de perforación como Kelly drilling, soil mixing y ground improvement.

Responsabilidades principales

Operar pilotadoras rotativas de gran escala para la ejecución de drilled shafts y pilotes de gran diámetro.

Manejo de camisas temporales recuperables, osciladores y herramientas asociadas.

Ejecución de perforaciones profundas conforme a planos, especificaciones técnicas y procedimientos de obra.

Control del proceso de perforación, verticalidad, limpieza de fondo y estabilidad del terreno.

Coordinación con el jefe de equipo, ingenieros de obra y personal de apoyo.

Cumplimiento estricto de los procedimientos de seguridad, calidad y medioambiente.

Mantenimiento básico y control operativo del equipo de perforación.

Requisitos del perfil

Experiencia mínima demostrable como Operador de Pilotadora de gran capacidad.

Experiencia específica en Drilled Shafts de gran diámetro (>1.5 m de diámetro (5ft)).

Experiencia en el uso de camisa recuperable (temporary casing).

Haber operado equipos BAUER BG36, Liebherr LB45 o maquinaria equivalente.

Conocimientos avanzados de técnicas de Kelly drilling y cimentaciones profundas.

Alta capacidad técnica, autonomía operativa y orientación a la seguridad.

ROLE DESCRIPTION – Drill Rig Operator (ENG)

Drill Rig Operator responsible for the execution of deep drilling works for special foundations using large-capacity rotary drilling rigs, such as BAUER BG36, Liebherr LB45, or equivalent equipment.

The position involves operating heavy drilling machinery for the construction of large-diameter drilled shafts, including diameters greater than 1.5 m diameter (5ft), using recoverable temporary casing systems and advanced drilling techniques such as Kelly drilling, soil mixing, and ground improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Operate large-scale rotary drilling rigs for the execution of drilled shafts and large-diameter piles.

Handle recoverable temporary casing systems, oscillators, and associated drilling tools.

Execute deep drilling works in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, and approved construction procedures.

Control the drilling process, including verticality, base cleaning, and ground stability.

Coordinate activities with the crew leader, site engineers, and support personnel.

Strictly comply with health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Perform basic maintenance and operational control of the drilling equipment.

Required Qualifications

Proven minimum experience as a large-capacity drill rig operator.

Specific experience in large-diameter drilled shafts (diameter greater than 1.5 m (5ft)).

Experience using recoverable temporary casing systems.

Previous operation of BAUER BG36, Liebherr LB45, or equivalent equipment.

Advanced knowledge of Kelly drilling techniques and deep foundation construction.

High technical capability, operational autonomy, and strong safety awareness.
