The Role
As a OpenShift Platform Administrator at Kyndryl, you will be responsible for the administration, operation, and optimization of Red Hat OpenShift platforms across on‑premise and cloud environments. In this role, you ensure the availability, security, and performance of containerized platforms that support business‑critical enterprise applications.
You will work closely with DevOps, SRE, and development teams to deploy, support, and troubleshoot containerized solutions, applying automation and best practices to improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. Your expertise will directly contribute to stable service delivery and continuous improvement across Kyndryl client environments.
Administer, operate, and optimize Red Hat OpenShift clusters in on‑premise and cloud environments
Manage Kubernetes resources and containerized workloads across development and production platforms
Deploy and support applications using CI/CD pipelines, automation, and GitOps practices
Ensure platform security, availability, and compliance through RBAC, certificates, secrets, networking, and monitoring
Provide operational support and incident resolution under defined SLAs, collaborating with DevOps and SRE team.

Who You Are
You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. You are customer-focused, proactive in problem resolution, and comfortable working in collaborative, fast-paced operational environments.
Required Skills and Experience
4+ years of hands-on experience administering Red Hat OpenShift platforms (on‑premise and/or cloud)
Practical experience with Kubernetes administration
Experience supporting containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of cluster installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching
Experience with security, monitoring, logging, automation and scripting
Preferred Skills and Experience
Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (EX280)
Experience integrating OpenShift with VMware, storage, and networking
Intermediate English proficiency
Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
