The Onsite Event Venue Manager II is the primary client liaison and team leader for assigned programs and events in a specific venue onsite at the client’s campus. Manages the overall coordination and execution of an entire program/event from an operational perspective. Responsible for coordination of all program planning and implementations while providing unparalleled levels of customer service. Unlike other event management companies, we take a science-based approach to corporate event management. To function as primary client liaison and team leader for assigned projects, programs and events in a specific venue on site at client campuses. In addition to managing the overall coordination and execution of an entire program/event from an operational perspective, this role will be responsible for administering various venue related support projects while providing unparalleled levels of customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Plan and design events within assigned venue spaces; serve as the primary point of contact for event hosts.
  • Outline event deliverables, develop project timelines, and create communication plans to ensure all details are handled accurately and on schedule.
  • Coordinate and attend site inspections; lead working sessions with event hosts and program managers.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, ensuring expectations, objectives, and business rules are clearly understood and documented.
  • Track and report event changes, assure supplier readiness, and schedule/lead pre‑con meetings.
  • Implement events onsite during operational dates, overseeing Catering, Facilities, Technology & AV, Executive Production, Security, Transportation, Janitorial, and other internal partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event attendees and guests; support registration, attendee check‑in, and giveaway distribution.
  • Anticipate challenges onsite and resolve issues promptly; direct team members and collaborate with third‑party suppliers as needed.
  • Manage VIP logistics, ensure attendee privacy and facility security, and support emergency response best practices.
  • Perform venue quality audits to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness; submit facility work orders and oversee quick‑turn event setups and strikes.
  • Own venue Standard Operating Procedures; manage the venue calendar; oversee space booking; accurately track and input event details; uphold venue standards and represent the venue professionally.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in meeting/event planning, including incentives, association, corporate events, hotel catering, convention services, or sales.
  • Strong knowledge of event/program management and budget maintenance with exposure to project planning.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing demands effectively.
  • Strong proficiency with G‑Suite tools, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new technology quickly.

Nice To Have

  • Experience managing venue operations or corporate event spaces.
  • Hands‑on experience with VIP and executive‑level event logistics.
  • Familiarity with emergency preparedness protocols for event environments.

Working Logistics & Things You Should Know

  • This is an Onsite role supporting venue‑based event operations.
  • Travel requirements: Minimal, typically limited to coordination with external partners or training.
  • This position operates on CST (adjustable based on organizational needs).
  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
