Job Description:

The Online Recruitment Coordinator Team Manager is responsible for leading and supporting a team of Enrollment Coordinators who serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current students within the LSU Online family of institutions. The Manager ensures the team meets productivity, engagement, and referral goals through proactive leadership, coaching, and performance management. This position promotes operational excellence by optimizing systems and workflows, ensuring accurate data management, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The role works closely with Recruitment and Retention leadership, Marketing, IT, and Data & Analytics to strengthen student engagement, streamline communication processes, and enhance technology integrations across Salesforce Education Cloud and Five9.

Job Responsibilities:

The Manager oversees the daily operations of the Enrollment Coordinator team, establishing clear performance expectations and monitoring team metrics through Salesforce and Five9. This includes ensuring coordinators meet daily and weekly benchmarks related to calls, appointments, chat time, and referrals. The Manager provides consistent feedback and coaching through bi-weekly one-on-one meetings, reviews progress, and develops individualized action plans to support professional growth. The role requires a minimum of two hours per week dedicated to call monitoring and live coaching sessions to ensure high-quality student interactions. The Manager is also responsible for reinforcing professionalism and adherence to operational standards, including data accuracy, communication etiquette, and responsiveness. 55%

Training, Development & Collaboration: The Manager partners with the Training Manager and other departments to coordinate new hire onboarding, ongoing training, and continuous learning for the Coordinator team. This includes ensuring all training materials and process guides are up to date and aligned with OCE standards. The Manager promotes participation in professional development opportunities and supports coordinators in completing required training pathways. In collaboration with Enrollment Coaches and other units, the Manager ensures consistent communication and seamless student handoffs between teams to maintain a positive and efficient student experience. 20%

Operations, Systems & Process Improvement- The Manager plays a key role in identifying and addressing process inefficiencies within Coordinator operations. This includes documenting and refining standard operating procedures, troubleshooting workflow challenges, and ensuring consistent use of Salesforce and Five9 to track student activity. The Manager collaborates closely with IT, Marketing, and Data & Analytics to ensure system accuracy, maintain database integrity, and implement effective student outreach cadences. The Manager also ensures MAPS notes, opportunity updates, and follow-up tasks are completed accurately and on time by all team members. 10%

Strategic Planning & Communication- The Manager conducts regular team meetings to align goals, share updates, and reinforce expectations. They track and communicate progress toward performance benchmarks and provide leadership with insights and recommendations to improve recruitment strategy and the overall student experience. The Manager contributes to term review meetings, divisional initiatives, and planning discussions, serving as the primary liaison between the Coordinator team and other OCE departments. 10%

Other Duties- Other duties as assigned to support departmental and divisional objectives. The Manager participates in team retreats, professional development events, and OCE-wide initiatives that align with organizational growth and strategic goals. 5%

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience

Specific Experience: sales, recruitment, or higher education

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree

Specific Experience: Lead or management experience working with teams
