About the opportunity
Are you an experienced nurse interested in research? Do you have a desire to improve outcomes for women with cancer?
You will be responsible for:
the management of day-to-day research project related activities – including identification, screening, recruitment, engagement, medical history review, data entry and follow-up of participants.
implementing departmental research studies, participating in informed consent procedures, coordinating collection of study samples and manage data entry. The Oncology Research nurse will maintain clinical and research governance
ensuring compliance with study protocols, HREC requirements and Good Clinical Practice principles

To thrive in this role, you will have:
Current Nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (essential)
Minimum of 2 years post graduate year experience (essential)
Prior research experience (desirable); and postgraduate-level study (highly regarded)
Current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification or commitment to attain within 3 months of commencing work (essential)
Highly developed computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel (essential) as well as with RedCap database program (desirable)
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
