Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid on NIGHT SHIFT, 8:00 pm to 5:00 AM / 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Philippines office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
As an Onboarding - Tier 2 People Leader, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing our employee onboarding programs. You will lead a team, leveraging data and strategic thinking to ensure a seamless and impactful experience for new hires, ultimately contributing to their long-term success and our organizational goals.
What You'll Do
Lead and manage a team responsible for the end-to-end execution and continuous improvement of Tier 2 onboarding programs and initiatives.
Apply strong commercial acumen to identify opportunities for process efficiencies and cost-effectiveness within onboarding operations, demonstrating a clear return on investment.
Utilize data analysis techniques and AI technologies to monitor key onboarding metrics, identify trends, and drive data-informed decisions for program enhancements.
Effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities within the team, fostering accountability and promoting individual growth and development.
Oversee end-to-end project management for significant onboarding initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and successful outcomes.
Integrate a global perspective into local onboarding strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate standards while adapting to specific regional needs and cultural nuances.
Champion a process-driven application approach to onboarding, developing, documenting, and enforcing standardized procedures to ensure consistency and scalability.
Foster a high-performing team environment through coaching, mentoring, and identifying opportunities for team development and skill enhancement.
Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities for optimization within the onboarding journey, continuously striving for efficiency gains.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within HR, talent management, or a related field, with a focus on people development or onboarding.
Demonstrated strong commercial acumen with the ability to link HR initiatives to business outcomes.
Proficiency in data analysis and experience using business intelligence tools, specifically Microsoft Power BI.
Excellent delegation and task management skills, with a track record of building and leading effective teams.
Solid understanding and practical experience in end-to-end project management methodologies.
