The Onboarding Manager at Nox Group is a working manager role. You are responsible for both the strategic leadership of the onboarding department and the hands-on execution of the end-to-end new hire lifecycle. By managing your own desk of hires while leading the team, you ensure a seamless, high-touch transition from recruitment to "Day One" for every new teammate

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete onboarding lifecycle for your designated hires, including all communications and system entries.
  • Provide leadership and daily direction to the Onboarding Admins.
  • Monitor the initiation of onboarding in Greenhouse and other applicable systems to ensure all new hires are processed immediately upon offer acceptance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for complex start-date changes, rescinded offers or issues involving the Talent and Workforce Development teams.
  • Oversee the administration of background checks and drug screenings to ensure 100% compliance with safety-sensitive requirements.
  • Audit I-9 and E-Verify completions to maintain strict adherence to federal law and manage re-verification schedules for current employees.
  • Verify that all employee records across People systems (Spectrum, Greenhouse, etc.) are accurate, up-to-date,
  • Regularly update the Onboarding process as business needs change.
  • Be the subject matter expert of all onboarding systems.
  • Ensure up to date compliance with all onboarding processes.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of progressive HR Experience
  • Strong understanding of employment law
  • Experience in construction preferred
  • At least 1 year of managing others or leading teams
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
