Research Assistant – ProPharma (Onsite, Newquay) – Start ASAP

Join ProPharma, a global leader in clinical research support, as a Research Assistant at our Newquay site. This part-time, 24-hour-per-week contract role is a great opportunity to build hands-on experience in clinical research while working in a flexible, supportive environment.

About the role:
As a Research Assistant, you’ll support day-to-day site operations for assigned studies, ensuring smooth communication, accurate documentation, and compliance with research standards. You’ll play an essential part in coordinating study activities, maintaining databases, and supporting both start-up and closeout processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for daily site communications and document coordination

  • Support participant pre-screening and study-related tasks

  • Perform accurate data entry and respond to system queries

  • Maintain clear, timely communication between the site and study team

  • Ensure documentation meets IRB/FDA compliance standards

  • Assist with study closeout and general research support as required

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum 1 year in a related field)

  • Confident using technology and web-based research platforms

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities

  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Professional, articulate, and detail-oriented approach
