Position Summary: This leadership position is tasked with directing RDA operations across multiple OMT facilities. The role requires adept coordination and communication to harmonize cross-site strategies and maintain consistent application of defect reduction and yield improvement programs. Reporting to the OMT RAM NPI leadership, the Process Manager will partner closely with site-level RDA teams, TD transfer groups, and central engineering functions. The role functions as a primary connection between Fab operations and upstream/downstream teams.

This position is notable for the opportunity to work at Micron, where we pursue precise operational processes and outstanding defect reduction and yield improvements. As an OMT RDA NPI Process Manager, you will have a key part in achieving our challenging goals and supporting innovative technology growth. Equivalent experience to OMT RDA will be considered.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Establish and work towards IDL (Inline Die Loss) goals to achieve Fab targets at the needed cadence.
  • Coordinate staffing, training, and the professional development of team members.
  • Collaborate with PIE and IDL team to identify defect reduction directions and drive timely goal achievement.
  • Ensure data clarity and accuracy for effective engineering analysis.
  • Bring up high yield loss issues requiring line down decisions.
  • Collaborate within RDA & Metro to improve detection capabilities for key fab issues.
  • Align with YE on defect gaps and yield loss messaging.
  • Identify areas of opportunity using data and communicate direction clearly.
  • Maintain effective communication processes across shifts, teams, and leadership.
  • Support the technical and career growth of team members.
  • Complete timely data analysis for yield improvement opportunities.
  • Work with suppliers to develop yield solutions.
  • Explore new analysis and automation methods to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with MCT on BKM sharing for yield and analysis solutions.
  • Partner with QE on containment strategies to ensure product quality.
  • Lead technology transfer between TD and DRAM network.
  • Collaborate with DRAM network to improve defect bucket management.
  • Support new node introduction (Alpha/Beta).
  • Drive new AI function releases to improve work efficiency.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related area, or equivalent experience.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or comparable experience in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in yield improvement projects or defect analysis.
  • Familiarity with AI applications in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
