The Ogden Honors College (OHC) TRACTS Program Manager will lead and coordinate the implementation of a new major within the Ogden Honors College beginning with the inaugural Fall 2026 cohort. Working closely with college leadership and key stakeholders, this role will drive recruitment efforts to attract high-achieving students, establish sustainable enrollment processes, and ensure operational readiness through completion of administrative, staffing, and policy requirements. The Program Manager will collaborate with academic and external partners to strengthen pathways to employment or graduate study, enhance program visibility and branding, and support curriculum development by securing faculty and essential course offerings. This position requires strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and strong organizational leadership to successfully launch and sustain the new academic program.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee the strategic planning and execution of the OHC TRACTS degree program, working closely with the OHC Director of Enrollment and Communications Manager to design tailored recruitment campaigns and promote a strong brand identity within LSU and Louisiana. Work with the Associate Dean to complete all administrative tasks required for the degree program's function, including staffing, policy statements, role definitions and assignments, and development of informational resources. (30%)
Teach four courses per academic year in the TRACTS curriculum, as assigned by the Dean of the Ogden Honors College. (30%)
Work with the Associate Dean to maintain TRACTS course carousel, recruit faculty from departments across campus, and ensure appropriate instructor staffing that is essential for degree matriculation within four years. Supervise cohort of part-time and adjunct Honors instructors. Work with the OHC Budget Manager to create an annual academic year teaching budget. Work with the OHC Events Manager to secure rooms for courses. (25%)
Organize and lead an Honors teaching and learning series of workshops each semester. (10%)
Other duties as assigned. (5%)

FERPA - As with all LSU employees, due to this position title and/or responsibilities, this position has an obligation to assist students in the acquisition of necessary services. Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree and 3 years of experience.
Specific Experience: Three (3) years of high-level academic administrative experience and experience teaching at the college level.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. and 3 years of experience
Specific Experience: Three (3) years of experience teaching in an honors college or other high-achieving population.
