Position Summary:
A detail-oriented and proactive Stockroom Supervisor to lead the stockroom operations.
In this role the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing stock management, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of inventory control. the incumbent's leadership will ensure that the stockroom runs smoothly, supporting our commitment to operational excellence.
Work You’ll Do:
Develop and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all stockroom personnel.
Supervise daily stockroom activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and supplies.
Implement and maintain efficient inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
Train, mentor, and supervise stockroom staff to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Conduct regular audits of inventory and stockroom processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and ensure timely availability of materials.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in stockroom or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Strong understanding of inventory control processes and best practices.
Proficient in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to lift heavy items and operate material handling equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with Lean methodologies.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
Knowledge of safety regulations and inventory handling best practices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety program, including Emergency Response.
Ensure ISO guidelines are followed; follow Job Instruction Sheets and Tag Procedures etc;
Create and manage work order for kits, hydraulics assembly and other stockroom related packages
Ensure work order component shortages are communicated to planning and buying team on timely basis
Support inventory cycle count program and provide necessary support to drill down inventory discrepancies finding out root cause and corrective actions
Oversee and manage inventory related transaction and support stockroom functions for inventory accuracy
Manage and process inventory adjustments request after approval/due diligence and ensure documentation is properly maintain in SharePoint.
Carry out Scrap Transactions for inventory accuracy and work closely with quality team for SAP Inventory movement between stockroom and Quality.
Responsible and accountable for addressing all Stockroom related Quality Corrective Action Reports (CAR’s).
Work closely with demand planner and stockroom team members to manage daily shortages for customer orders and support On Time Delivery
Close coordination with Stockroom team to complete various activities for inventory, SAP location and transaction.
Developed and maintained various KPI related to stockroom activities
Perform various SAP transactions and reports for data / delivery / location accuracy
Provide support for the annual physical inventory count while ensuring Company integrity objectives are achieved.
Coordinate and adjust work schedules as required to meet deadlines.
Advise Logistics, Materials and Production Control on any areas of concern, seeking advice when necessary.
Provide recommendations for process improvement, efficiencies and method improvement.
Support and assist Supply chain and Production team to identify continual process improvement opportunities.
