Job Description
This role will be responsible to provide efficient fleet management service to the department and the organisation whilst building and maintaining sound working relationship with all stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include the following:
Execute on the full role of Fleet Management Ambassador to ensure contribution to the achievement of the business strategy and ease of doing business
Assist with the planning and coordination of fleet operations including acquisition, scheduling, maintenance, repair, and disposal of vehicles.
Review and administer the invoices and associated costs relating to the M&F fleet.
Conduct regular fleet audits to monitor service provider performance and internal process delivery standards.
Compile and produce fleet related metrics
Propose and implement fleet solutions to achieve the most economic
and efficient transport operation possible
Continuous improvement to ensure effective service
Adhere to agreed processes to deliver targeted operational results.
Continuously strive to enhance and improve the Facilities & Corporate Procurement processes.
Represent and market this process internally to peers and clients.
Identify and report on Facilities & Corporate Procurement process issues
Service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction
Provide customer services in line with quality and performance standards
Build positive customer relations and solve or escalate customer queries and complaints
Gather feedback on customer satisfaction and report to your line leader.
Proactively suggest improvements in customer service and relations where applicable.
Contribute to a service culture which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service.
Cost control and governance adherence
Proactively ensure use of time, of resources, money, materials, or equipment is in line with policies and procedures.
Comply with corporate governance policies, procedures, and standards.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
Matric
2 years fleet management experience
Certificate in Fleet Management essential
National Diploma Fleet Management or equivalent highly advantages
Computer literacy

The Recruitment Process:
TA Interview: This will be a discussion with a member of the Talent Acquisition Team to give you an understanding of our business, our culture & values and more context on the role. It will also allow us the opportunity to get to know you more and ensure OMI can meet your career aspirations.
Panel Interview: This will be with 2 members of the Senior Leadership of the Hiring Team and 1 member of the HC Leadership Team.
Technical & Psychometric Assessments: These will depend on the role and will sometimes happen concurrently with Vetting through an external service provider & Internal Verification.
