What is the opportunity?

We're looking for a proactive and communicative Officer, Business Operations to provide timely, efficient, and accurate support to all departments and teams at Wealth Management Royal Trust. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a passion for providing excellent client service, identifying process enhancement opportunities, and building strong relationships with colleagues. What will you do?

  • Provide timely, efficient, and accurate support to all departments and teams at Royal Trust.

  • Identify process enhancement opportunities and collaborate with applicable parties to ensure smooth executions.

  • Work closely with the Royal Trust Business Initiatives team to identify opportunities for general enhancements to applications or support of ad-hoc projects/initiatives.

  • Conduct onboarding/offboarding of employees within Royal Trust, including equipment orders/moves, employee system access requests, office and desk allocation in branches.

  • Supports Royal Trust Business operations via conducting the annual branch vault count and clear desk reviews, ensuring deficiencies are escalated to Regional Market leads or delegate for resolution.

  • Liaise with relationship managers to resolve sundry asset exceptions as identified by the Central Support Group semi-annually.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 4-7 years providing administrative support, ideally within the Estate & Trust industry.

  • Knowledge of systems and applications used within Wealth Management Canada.

  • Demonstrated experience effectively collaborating amongst multiple teams.

  • Excellent written/verbal/electronic communication skills.

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent.

Nice-to-have

  • Ability to work effectively with others and be perceived as a professional business partner.

  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Flexible in approaching all duties and assignments and shares best practices wherever possible.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$55,000.00 - $90,000.00
