Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and energetic System Engineer to join our Infrastructure Critical Services team. Our team maintains first-in-class systems for trading, market data and clearing in cash and derivative markets. We play a critical role on infrastructure support, including compute servers, storage and backup of our mission critical systems. We also partner with application and cyber security teams to operate our systems in such fast growing financial markets in Hong Kong.

Job Duties:
Technical & Operational Support
- Perform hands-on technical support tasks for infrastructure environments, including servers, storage, backup, and related platforms.
- Assist in routine system administration activities and support daily operations of critical infrastructure systems.
- Perform regular compliance checks and document assessment results in accordance with HKEX standards.
- Support automation and scripting tasks (e.g. Shell, Python, PowerShell) for configuration checking, reporting, or operational efficiency.
Inventory, Stocktake & Asset Management
- Perform regular stocktaking and maintain accurate inventory records for hardware, software, and licensing assets.
- Support infrastructure asset lifecycle management, including deployment tracking, changes, and decommissioning.
- Assist in inventory reconciliation and reporting for audit and operational purposes.
Contract & Vendor Support
- Coordinate and support contract renewals for infrastructure-related hardware, software, and maintenance services.
- Compile and maintain contract-related documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with internal teams and vendors to ensure contract information is complete and up to date.
Documentation & Governance
- Compile and maintain technical and operational documentation, including:
- Change requests and operation requests
- System and inventory records
- Compliance and audit supporting documents
- Ensure documentation is accurate, well-structured, and aligned with internal standards.
- Work closely with Operations and Infrastructure Engineering teams to support business and operational needs.
