Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. The Administrative Supervisor will report directly to the VP/GM Materials and will be located in our Calgary, AB office.
What You'll Be Doing
This role supervises a team of specialists, provides guidance on complex transactions, and ensures efficient operations across materials management.
Develop and implement systems for accurate reporting and documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams to support compliance and operational goals.
Manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service delivery.

Proven capability to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to support business objectives.
Proficiency in administrative systems and tools to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP and payroll software (e.g., Oracle, JDE, Kronos).
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
Work Environment
This role is based in an office setting with regular interaction across departments. Occasional travel to other locations may be required.
