Hourly pay: $20.27 - $24.85

What You’ll Do
As our Office Specialist, you’ll help keep the licensing program running by answering questions, processing information, and assisting customers in person, by phone, and by email. You’ll help with tasks like entering data, updating records, processing payments, and supporting basic office operations.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
One year of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents;
OR
An equivalent combination of experience and college coursework or training in a general office occupation.
Desired Attributes:
Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Demonstrated attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and thoroughness in all work.
Effective written communication skills, including proofreading for grammar, spelling, and formatting.
Ability to clearly explain information and processes to the public in person, by phone, or in writing.
Strong customer service skills, including patience, accuracy, and professionalism.

This recruitment is for one permanent, part-time, unrepresented Office Specialist 1 position, and may be used to fill future vacancies.
Employee is required to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license issued by the state where the employee resides.
*The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%.
