Purpose of Job :
The Office Manager oversees day-to-day administrative activities of the distributorship’s office. This role manages, trains and develops front office Team Members.
Job Components:
Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of Accounts Payable, Receivable and Month-End
Manages processing and verification of deposits and receipts.
Supports inventory process by creating/completing all associated reports and data entry
Create and maintain dealer files accurately
Assist all Route Managers on accounts receivable questions.
Ensures front counter is adequately staffed, assisting customers and answering phones when necessary
IT point of contact with respect to maintaining computer, network and phone systems.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school graduate (or equivalent). Two- or four-year college degree in a related field preferred
Minimum of two years’ Accounts Payable and Receivable experience, including collections.
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Excel.
Previous experience in a customer-facing role is required.
Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and can prioritize and/or effectively delegate tasks
Approaches tasks with a sense of urgency, accuracy and attention to detail
Scope Data:
Works under limited supervision
Supervises two or more team members
Frequent interaction with customers and operations staff
Work Environment:
Office environment but is also exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Regularly required to stand, walk, hear, talk, and use hands to grasp and handle objects
Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. without assistance
Ability to sustain extended periods of sitting, occasional standing and walking throughout the day
Prolonged use of personal computer and telephone
Use of PPE may be required
