Office Coordinator - Antepartum Testing - Days

In this role, under direction, maintains a smooth workflow within the unit. Ensure patients are registered courteously, confidentially, efficiently, accurately and professionally. Interviews patients or representatives for financial and demographic data, verify insurance and pre-authorizations, accurately inputting information into the Hospital’s EPIC scheduling system.

 

This is a full-time 10:00AM - 6:00PM position. This position is located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

 

Preferred (not required) Criteria:

• Medical Terminology certificate

 

Required Criteria:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Must have at least one year of medical office experience Intermediate knowledge of Windows, WordPerfect
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Must present self in a professional office manner

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range:

$25.20-$37.51/Hourly
