Department: District Office - Office of the President

Reports To: Executive Assistant to the President

LOCATION: Green Bay

STANDARD HOURS: 37.5 Hours per week; Typical hours Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (no virtual); Flexibility required to include other hours, as necessary.

STARTING PAY RANGE: $18.29 - $19.71 per hour

*Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be placed within the range based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide support at Front Desk by performing clerical functions for the District Office such as open/distribute mail, maintain internal resource documents, data entry, other clerical projects as requested, and to provide exceptional customer service in response to guests and inquiries.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Welcome and assist internal and external customers, acting as a liaison to connect them with the appropriate individual or department.

  • Provide administrative support including ordering office supplies, maintaining departmental resources, handling mail, and assisting staff as required.

  • Organize and oversee travel logistics for the President’s Cabinet as needed to include registrations, transportation reservations, accommodations, travel estimates, budget and expense distributions, and reconciliations.

  • Assist in planning and executing departmental events, including requesting catering, creating support materials, and managing logistics.

  • Manage room reservations and provide logistical support for internal and external meetings.

  • Participate in college events to enable awareness of upcoming issues or changes that directly support NWTC’s mission of Student Success, College Excellence and Community Vibrancy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma required.

  • Two years of related professional experience, preferably in a similar professional office setting, is required.

**An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree preferred.

  • Microsoft Office preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Extended Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer or attending meetings

  • Mobility: Ability to move around the campus to attend meetings and events

  • Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using hands and fingers to handle or operate office equipment, tools, or controls.

  • Visual and Auditory: Ability to read documents and communicate effectively with students and staff.

  • Light Lifting: Capability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
