JOB SUMMARY
The office assistant is responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative duties and reports to the Practice Manager. Coordinates the management of Implanted Cardiac Devices. Responsible for coordinating patient care with device company representatives, nurses and providers to ensure checks are completed and task to the appropriate providers. Communicates effectively with providers upon receipt of urgent notifications from device companies or checks and follow up with device clinic nurse and patient.JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Type: Full Time (80 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits)
Typical hours for this position: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Education:
-High School Diploma or General Studies Required
Certification & Licensures:
-N/A
Experience:
-Minimum of two years experience in health care.
-Clinical background is preferred, Knowledge of administrative procedures including a high level of computer competence.
-Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physician's staff and the public.
-Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational skills.
-Excellent communication skills are a must, both orally and written.
-Must possess a professional attitude and appearance, excellent customer service skills required.
