The Role

As an intern in the OEX Digitalents program, you will support initiatives focused on reducing scrap in production processes through digital improvements. This role is key to driving operational efficiency and leveraging technology to optimize manufacturing performance.

What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)

  • Develop Power BI dashboards to monitor model changes and scrap reduction progress.
  • Track and analyze data from EVOCON and MES systems to identify failures and improvement opportunities.
  • Support OEX Master and OEX Intelligence teams in implementing digital solutions for scrap reduction projects.
  • Assist in the development and follow-up of Power Apps requested by different departments to streamline processes.

What Success Looks Like

  • Accurate and timely visualizations of scrap reduction metrics.
  • Improved tracking of failures and model changes through digital tools.
  • Deployment of Power Apps that enhance operational workflows.
  • Tangible reduction in scrap and cost savings for the plant.

Applicable Majors:

  • Industrial Engineering

  • Chemical Engineering

Additional Technical Skills:

  • Power BI
  • Power Apps
  • Preferably, technical knowledge of process improvement

Work Model & Travel

On-site at Optima Plant, in Ciénega de Flores. No travel required. Hybrid.
