The Role

As an intern in the OEX team at Planta Componentes, you will support the initiative to digitize and maintain OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) tracking through Power BI. This role is essential to improving visibility of production performance and enabling data-driven decisions for operational efficiency.
 

What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)

  • Establish connections with current ERP systems to generate specific databases for OEE calculation.
  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards for OEE monitoring.
  • Ensure data integrity and maintain connections to existing databases.
  • Organize and standardize datasets to facilitate quick identification and usability in improvement projects.
  • Provide maintenance and updates to existing Power BI reports.

  • Reliable and real-time OEE dashboards available for operational teams.
  • Historical data accessible for performance analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Increased visibility of opportunities to optimize production processes.
  • Improved decision-making through accurate digital tools and data integration.

Applicable Majors:

  • Computer Systems Engineering
  • Information Technology Engineering
  • Business Intelligence
  • Data Science Engineering
  • Related Engineering fields with BI or data analysis courses
     

Additional Technical Skills:

  • Power BI development and maintenance
  • SQL and database management
  • Programming fundamentals
     

Work Model

On-site at Planta Componentes (Ciénega de Flores). Hybrid work model.
