Are you an experienced Operating Department Practitioner seeking a fresh challenge in a high-performing, patient-focused environment? The Wellington Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK, is looking for a skilled Anaesthetic and Recovery ODP to join our renowned theatre team.

Rated “Good” by the CQC, The Wellington Hospital is a centre of excellence offering advanced surgical care across 11 state-of-the-art theatres spanning three buildings. Our specialties include neurosurgery, spinal surgery, cardiac care, orthopaedics, acute neurological rehabilitation, gynaecology, and oncology.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing anaesthetic rooms tailored to patient and surgical needs
  • Supporting the full cycle of patient care: assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation
  • Assisting in clinical and operative procedures across multiple specialties
  • Managing specialist equipment including anaesthetic machines and airway devices
  • Monitoring post-operative vital signs and supporting pain management

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Operating Department Practitioner with current HCPC registration
  • Proven experience in Anaesthetics and Recovery within an operating theatre
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, compassionate approach to patient care
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a theatre setting
