Position Overview:
OCE Manager reporting to the OCE lead - India, will own the delivery of projects, campaigns, and digital channel execution that form the backbone of Lilly India’s omnichannel capability. This is a high-ownership, execution-forward role requiring someone who can independently manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects, build analytical rigor into marketing decisions, and drive end-to-end delivery.
This role includes a mix of both – strategic and tactical elements. Therefore, the candidate must bring both a strong strategic and operational mindset, with strong leadership skills. The right candidate should have successfully done a brand management role, demonstrate strong stakeholder management experience, along with extensive deep digital expertise.
Responsibilities:
Omnichannel Engagement
- Strengthen India omnichannel capabilities across marketing, sales, medical and PRA teams.
- Drive innovative and creative solutions to drive remarkable customer experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Lead OCE capability building:
- Ensure adoption and implementation of technological advancements in OCE field and accelerate Lilly India’s adoption of OCE initiatives across brands.
- Prepare affiliate for organization change management and transition to data-driven decision approach.
Project & Campaign Execution
- Own end-to-end project management across 4–5 concurrent OCE initiatives — defining milestones, tracking delivery, managing cross-functional dependencies, and flagging risks proactively before they become blockers.
- Lead execution of omnichannel campaigns in collaboration with Brand, Medical, IT, and Procurement teams, ensuring delivery against defined timelines and KPIs.
- Own and manage brand execution in line with brand team operational plans, with clear accountability for output quality and timeline.
- Identify the right channel mix for brand objectives and translate strategy into clear, executable tactics.
- Manage and maintain all digital platforms and capabilities supporting execution plans.
- Ensure 100% implementation of committed plans and programmes across brands.
- Drive monthly reviews with brand teams across all OCE activities, identifying gaps and recommending course corrections based on performance data.
OCE Analytics
- Own analytics for all campaigns executed — build and maintain performance dashboards, track KPI achievement, and translate data into actionable insights for brand and medical teams.
- Proactively identify performance gaps from data — diagnose root causes and present evidence-based recommendations.
- Influence brand teams to make data-driven decisions based on market research outcomes and execution performance.
- Leverage IBU dashboards to provide monthly execution reviews and support affiliates in identifying gaps and growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain reporting frameworks that provide transparency on HCP interaction data across all channels.
Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard 3rd party vendors and partners for OCE campaigns — owning the full procurement lifecycle.
- Partner with procurement teams to execute effective contracting practices in compliance with all internal policies.
Minimum Experience Preference:
- 4-6 years of experience with omnichannel marketing/brand marketing/consumer marketing, in a role with direct project ownership across multi-stakeholder environments.
- Commercial experience (preferably marketing) from FMCG, life sciences, pharma OTC.
Skills Required:
- Expert knowledge in digital marketing and managing digital marketing partners.
- Knowledge of marketing mix modelling and attribution marketing
- Track record in successful delivery of omnichannel solutions/campaigns and vendor management.
- Leadership skills, including ability to work with and through others.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Curiosity and the ability to stay up to date on emerging customer engagement trends.
Education Requirements:
- MBA and Science degree
- Up to 20% expected travel
- Work from office (4 days minimum per week)
