Assignments will include teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as applicable. Teaching assignments may be on the main campus or at off-campus sites within our region. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.
Job Description
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Teach in ACOTE-accredited Master of Occupational Therapy program, which may include classroom and lab instruction in traditional, in-person format.
- Performs grading and testing.

Additional Job Description
Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy (OTD/PhD) or related field from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent accreditation.
- Licensed occupational therapist in the State of Florida.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Academic doctorate degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent accreditation, board certification.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of occupational therapy content expertise.
- Promote a common purpose consistent with stated University goals and demonstrate a commitment to students and the learning environment.
- Possess the knowledge of general written standards and procedures utilized, and have the ability to read, interpret, and follow procedural and policy manual related to the job tasks.
- Demonstrate the ability to respond to supervision, guidance and direction in a positive, receptive manner and in accordance with stated policies.
- Provide quality customer service by creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Present a professional image in word, action and attire.
- Apply effective techniques to create working relationships with others to achieve common goals; successfully communicates and collaborates with others to achieve goals.
