Occupational Therapist - Full Time  - Cornell Campus

Evaluate, plan and provide occupational therapy treatment programs for patients whose injury, disease, or loss of body part interferes with daily functioning. Provide skilled intervention using a variety of techniques that are appropriate to achieve identified goals. This position will start on the acute care and have the opportunity to rotate throughout the continuum of care including the inpatient rehabilitation unit and outpatient. 

The hours for this full-time position are Sunday through Thursday, 8:30am to 4:30pm and rotating holidays. 

Preferred Criteria 

• 2 years of acute care experience preferred, including ICU 

• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification 

• Masters in occupational therapy 

Required Criteria 

• BS degree in Occupational Therapy 

• NYS Occupational Therapist License within one year of hire 

• NYS Limited Permit (application submitted upon hire) 

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
