Hours: 23 hours per week (days negotiable, Monday–Friday)

Job Description:

We currently have a short-term vacancy for an Occupational Therapist to join our Disabilities Early Intervention & Prevention (EIP) Team in Conwy.
The EIP Team provides short, outcome-focused interventions for individuals and families, helping them build resilience and better manage their daily lives and circumstances.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Deliver direct OT services to people with disabilities.
  • Work with parents, carers, and families to provide support and strengthen resilience.
  • Complete screening assessments and make initial recommendations for appropriate responses to need.
  • Carry out safeguarding activity where required.
  • Ensure people with disabilities, their parents, carers, and families are at the centre of decision-making about their lives and desired outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist (minimum 3 years post-qualified).
  • Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Strong technology and software skills.
  • Manual handling training and experience.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
