Responsibilities:
- Conducting occupational health screenings and fitness-for-duty examinations at the Weinheim location and occasionally at other locations
- Advising the company and employees on all matters related to occupational health and safety, including workplace and facility inspections
- Providing emergency medical care, treating acute illnesses, and offering travel medicine advice to employees
- Helping to shape the company’s occupational health management program
Qualifications:
- Board certification in occupational medicine or a subspecialty in occupational health, or at least two years of clinical experience relevant to the training program
- Subspecialty certification in emergency medicine or certification in emergency medical services, or the prerequisites to obtain these
- Additional board certification is desirable (e.g., general practice, trauma surgery, internal medicine, etc.)
- Strong interest in occupational health issues in an industrial setting
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and innovatively, as well as a high sense of responsibility, are strongly preferred
- Excellent written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
