Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner

USA - Massachusetts - Cambridge Full time

You’ll be a visible clinical leader across the GSK clinics sites in the Massachusetts area while partnering closely with site leadership and teams like EHS, HR and Facilities to create safe, healthy workplaces where every colleague can thrive and Get Ahead of disease.

 

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Develop the OH services for the GSK sites in the Massachusetts area in line with OSHA and GSK standards.
  • Deliver high quality, clinical occupational health services at the relevant sites requiring travel between onsite clinics including injury management, fitness for duty, accommodation management and  health surveillance in conjunction with existing OH provider.
  • Assure the OH services provided and apply a continuous improvement approach to service delivery and the employee experience.
  • Stay current on clinical, technological, and professional changes associated with occupational health and safety and meet all continuing education requirements for federal and state licensure of APP license, prescriptive license and DEA license.
  • Represent the GSK OH service at site in collaboration with site leadership and other relevant stakeholders including but not limited to EHS, HR, Facilities management.  
  • Support employees with filing Workers Compensation claims for work related illness and injury.

 

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required training / skills to achieve our goals:

  • CRNP, MSN (Master of Science in Nursing with AANP or AANC national certification + state licensure in affiliated state) or PA-C, MSPAS (Licensure in affiliated US State).  Must have current prescriptive authority with DEA.
  • Ability to maintain an unrestricted nurse practitioner or physician assistant license in MA
  • 8+ years of clinical experience
  • 1+ years of occupational health experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications/experience

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience of working in the pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry
  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation while also working autonomously.
  • 2 years management experience.

• If you are based in Cambridge, MA; Waltham, MA; Rockville, MD; or San Francisco, CA, the annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges $115,500 to $192,500. The US salary ranges take into account a number of factors including work location within the US market, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role. Available benefits include health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
