The Opportunity: Saint Luke’s East Hospital is seeking an OB Technologist to assist in the delivery of care to the patient experiencing surgical intervention, providing a safe environment in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
Position Details:
Shift: Part-time-Nights.
6:45PM to 7:15AM
2 - 12 hour shifts
Responsibilities:
OB Technician within the organizational structure of the Labor and Delivery area assists in delivery of care to the patient experiencing surgical intervention.
Primary function is to assist with surgical procedures.
The OB Tech provides patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
The OB Tech individualizes and modifies care according to the patients needs.
The OB Tech collaborates with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
The OB Tech assumes a multiskilled role performing clinical and clerical functions that serves as an integral member of the primary patient care team.
Experience:
Childbirth & Surgical procedure experience preferred
