Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Run cash-flow analysis for all investment opportunities (all asset class)

  • Provide transaction support throughout the acquisition/disposal process

  • Prepare documentation for internal/external investment committee

  • Prepare annual business plans

  • Assist implementation of asset management initiatives, capex plan, lease re-gears and renewals

  • Prepare quarterly reporting to investors

What We’re Looking For: 

Nuveen France is looking to bring on board a motivated intern to join their team in Paris. The successful candidate will work closely with the investment and portfolio management staff supporting them throughout acquisition, asset management and disposal process. The candidate will work on office, retail and logistic assets.

This internship offers an outstanding opportunity to start a career in commercial real estate.

Fluent verbal and written communication capabilities in French and English is mandatory.

Competencies Required

Academic Excellence: On track for an undergraduate Bachelor degree or Master in Business Administration, Finance, International Business, Economics or any other Business related field.

Investment Management Knowledge & Interest: Academic background or demonstrated interest in Real Estate E.g. Relevant coursework; active participation in investment clubs; managing a virtual portfolio; following market commentary; reading financial news

Technical skills:  Preferably have prior experience of coding such as VBA, and/or familiarity with Python and Bloomberg is a plus.

Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise written and verbal communications tailored to different audiences.

Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in team settings by actively listening to others' perspectives, contributing constructively to group discussions. 

Critical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to understand business problems from multiple angles, identify key drivers of outcomes, and propose solutions that balance competing priorities.

Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong competency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & advanced in Excel).  E.g. have evidence of doing financial analysis and financial modelling.

Initiative and Ownership: Track record of taking ownership of projects or responsibilities without constant supervision.

Due to high volume of applications: 

  • We will only consider students in their penultimate year graduating in 2027. 

  • We will only consider applicants who have the right to live and work in the country for where the internship is located. 

  • You must be able to work the internship from June to Dec 2026.
