We are hiring for a Nutrition Specialist at our Country Club Save-On-Foods location in Nanaimo, BC.
The successful candidate must have open availability and be available for 40 hours per week.
You will be responsible for:
Answering questions and provide information on vitamins, natural health products, supplements and solutions to customers.
Providing product, nutrition suggestions and recommendations.
Supporting the coordination and facilitation of in-store health events and other related programs and services, including product demonstrations.
Managing inventory, which includes ordering, stocking, rotating, cleaning and maintaining the appearance and organization of the health department.
Supporting with setting up in-store promotional displays.
Maintaining planograms for the health department.
Coaching and mentoring team members within the department to support their ongoing development.
You have:
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Nutrition Practitioner, or equivalent credentials.
Experience in retail Wellness and cross-selling.
Knowledge of various health and vitamin products and services available with the ability to effectively demonstrate use of products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and engage with customers on a regular basis.

Passionate about providing excellent customer service through engaging and interacting with customers.
Organized and detail oriented, with a strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.

Compensation Details:
$21.00 - $23.50The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
