Job Description

The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing hospital functions on a designated shift. He/she confers with the nursing staff, physicians, and other department personnel as necessary to meet the overall needs of patients. Informs the hospital administrator on call of any situation that may require attention. Manages staffing to provide continuity of professional nursing care.

Schedule: PRN as needed

*PRN employees are eligible to participate in the State Retirement Program*

Additional Job Description

Experience: At least 2 years experience as a Charge Nurse or Supervisor in an acute care facility
South Carolina or Compact State Registered Nurse License
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
