Position Summary

The RWC Nursing Director is accountable for nursing functions in RWC provider clinic settings. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining nursing clinical standards and competencies, continuous survey readiness, and coordination of regulated and elective education and training. This is achieved in partnership with various aspects of the leadership structure in RWC, the general Inland Northwest region and the broader MultiCare Health System. The position determines and maintains processes to achieve increasingly effective and efficient clinical personnel performance, standardization and quality of care. This position will also be responsible for interpreting, implementing and integrating policies and procedures in clinic settings. All nursing functions within the ambulatory setting matrix report to this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. Master’s degree preferred
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
  • Five (5) years of progressive experience in more responsible leadership/management roles required
  • Eight (8) years of ambulatory care experience required
  • Experience working with provider and provider groups in a collaborative manner required
  • Strategic, business and program development experience desire

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $136,226.00 - $188,117.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
