Provide compassionate patient focused care and perform select duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Ensure the delivery of meals and safe transport. Measure, monitor and record temperatures, pulses, respirations and blood pressures. Ensure the delivery of meals and safe transport. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care.
This is a part time Nights position from 11pm to 7:15am (25.38 hrs/wk; 7 shifts BI-WEEKLY) at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens location. Weekend rotations required.
Required Criteria:
• Previous Nurse’s aide experience or equivalent in a hospital setting; or certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program, or currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum
• BLS from AHA
• HS Diploma/GED
• Must be able to complete mandatory 2-week orientation Monday - Friday from 8AM - 4PM upon hire.
