  • 3 12 hour shifts weekly
  • 7pm-7am
  • Every 3rd weekend

Pay Range

$19.80 - $29.70

The Nursing Assistant I provides assistance to the nursing staff by rendering specific treatments in addition to basic nursing care to assigned patients. Delivers direct and indirect care following physician and nursing orders to achieve the highest standards of age/developmental specific care.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Completion of North Carolina Nurse Aide I course required
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Performs effectively with frequent workload changes and competing demands
  • Basic computer skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, feeding, mobility, positioning)
  • Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient conditions in EMR
  • Perform purposeful rounding and communicate patient needs to the care team
  • Support admissions, transfers, and discharges with patient-focused service
  • Collect and handle specimens and point-of-care testing accurately
  • Maintain clean, stocked, and safe patient care environments
  • Assist with patient transport, nutrition, and skin integrity care
  • Follow infection prevention and safety protocols at all times
  • Provide age-appropriate, compassionate care across diverse patient populations
