$21.85 - $32.80Nurse Extern opportunity - Cardiac Angioplasty unit, 10S for December 2026 grads at Aurora St. Luke's. We are a 6 times Magnet designated facility.
Start as a nurse extern and transition to a nursing position post graduation. Start your nursing career as a Newly Licensed RN with the same team you had the opportunity to work during your externship. This will make your transition an easier one with less ambiguities.
10 S is a 24 bed a fast paced high acuity unit that specializes on pre and post interventional cardiology patients. 10S also serves a large volume of chest pain/STEMI patients, heart failure patients, and pre-op open heart surgery/TAVR patients. If interested in the newest technology and breakthrough medical procedures in cardiac care this is a place for you. If you are a nurse who thrives in high paced environments this is a unit for you!
Responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion and skilled communication, leads efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Must be available to start January 2026, 8 hrs a week required.
Med Surg and pharmacology courses completed - Unofficial transcript required at time of offer.
