Job Description

Serve as the day-to-day lead within the Destination Center of Superior Performance and supervise the development, implementation, and organization of the overall program.  The Coordinator will coordinate the efforts between surgeons, hospital administration and staff while tracking the progress of the program and identifying areas that require attention. Responsible for all program  management,  report  generation  and  review,  process  improvement,  patient  satisfaction, facilities review, budget (if required) and administrative activities within the Center.

Additional Job Description

Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
State licensure and/or professional certification: South Carolina or Compact State RN license. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required

•    Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred.

•    Able to complete and/or experience with all job responsibilities.

•    Able to communicate with patients, family and staff in a professional, friendly manner.

•    Proven working relationship with surgeons.

•    Experience with patient / staff education.

•    Proven leadership experience, having managed resources either directly or within the implementation of a new initiative.

•    Strong detail-orientation and follow-up capacity.

•    Excellent organizational skills.

•    Ability to multitask.

•    Demonstrated success in relationship building.

•    Ability to keep team focused on goals / timelines.

•    Customer service focused.

•    Strong data analysis skills, requiring interpretation of clinical results to develop program improvement projects.

•    Experience in achieving results and working with process management
