Job Summary
The Nuclear Fleet Technology Specialist is responsible for the overall optimization and strategy of the Connected Worker platform and Maximo software across the nuclear fleet. This role serves as the primary business lead for fleet-wide connected worker initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption. The specialist will collaborate closely with IT, site representatives, and Vendor teams to enhance operational efficiency.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the enhancements and request prioritization of the Connected Worker platform and Maximo software for the nuclear fleet.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Connected Worker requests, coordinating with IT Applications and Vendor groups as needed.
- Work alongside site IT representatives to resolve network or hardware issues affecting the Connected Worker and Maximo platforms.
- Coordinate scope of software releases, updates, and testing activities with primary software vendor and other relevant teams to ensure smooth deployment and minimal disruption.
- Assist in resolution of Help Desk tickets related to the Connected Worker and Maximo platforms, involving the appropriate site contacts when necessary.
- Together with IT, develop and deliver training and documentation for site users to maximize adoption and effective use of both platforms.
- Act as a long-term business lead, providing strategic insight and recommendations for future enhancements of workforce technology solutions.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- 5+ years experience in commercial nuclear power operations and safety requirements is highly desirable.
- Experience with enterprise software platforms (preferably Maximo) and Electronic Work Packages.
- Strong aptitude for triaging issues.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with experience collaborating across IT, business, and site operations teams.
- Ability to lead change, drive technology adoption, and manage long-term projects.
- Ability to prioritize technical issues based on understanding of nuclear business operations and drive resolution
