Job Details

ChristianaCare is looking for a seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician to join our academically-focused Consultation-Liaison team within the Behavioral Health Service Line.  This position will provide psychiatric consultation services for patients admitted to our inpatient medical and surgical units and emergency room, as well as close collaboration and integrative care with medical teams.  Potential for this position to cover at both our Newark and Wilmington campuses.

Christiana Hospital is a 906-bed hospital located in Newark, DE, one hour south of Philadelphia.  Wilmington Hospital is a 321-bed hospital located in Wilmington, DE, 45 minutes south of Philadelphia.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program with certification by ANCC or AANP
  • Graduate from an accredited Physicians Assistants program with NCCPA certification
  • Minimum of one to three years of experience working in Psychiatry preferred
  • Eligible for license in Delaware
  • Eligible for prescriptive authority and DEA registration
  • BLS certification required
  • Completion of 24 hour mental health screener course within 6 months of hire

Annual Compensation Range $122,114.00 - $157,121.00

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
