Job Family Definition:

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the company’s solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal project teams) and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Contribute to organization’s profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.

Management Level Definition:

Contributions include applying intermediate level of subject matter expertise to solve common technical problems. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. Works independently within an established framework and with moderate supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the designed of custom solutions and assigned tasks within the solutioning, approval and transition hand-off cycle of a project.
  • Understands a broad spectrum of the company's technology in order to deliver part of a detailed technical solution design, which meets customer requirements.
  • Develop custom solutions for end-customers that may include technical services such as lifecycle services (i.e., onsite services for installing new systems, data privacy, recertifications), proactive support services (Complete Care Next), End of Support Life/Multivendor Solutions and custom maintenance scope.
  • Works with minimal direction from the technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Contributes to design for specific deliverables and assists in the development of technical solutions.
  • Participates as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members, internal stakeholders and customers directly..
  • Understands the company strategy and the SA role that the individual plays.
  • Uses knowledge tools and re- uses information for the benefit of projects, and of professional development.
  • Uses and contributes to technical forums within the company environment and local professional communities and technical user groups.

Education and Experience Required:

  • 3 - 5 years of technical experience years and/or equivalent Bachelor's degree in computer science or related IT Engineering programs or area of study; without a degree, two additional years of relevant professional experience (5-7 years in total).
  • Proven professional experience in technical support, IT-related customer service, or IT project management/support roles.
  • Strong English communication skills, written and spoken (C1 or C2 Proficient)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • SAP experience is a plus

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Has sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the implementation of a specific deliverable.
  • Understands HPE Technology Infrastructure (i.e., Compute, Storage, Networking, Hybrid and AI Solutions) and Architecture, with knowledge in identifying the components of technology devices and their purpose.
  • Fast learner of technology concepts and understanding the purpose of technologies
  • Strong consulting skills to capture customer requirements and preferences
  • Sense or urgency to manage time properly when answering to customers
  • Great attention to detail around both the deliverables and the process followed to complete tasks
  • Strong teamwork to collaborate and deliver solutions more effectively and document knowledge to share with others
  • Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the implementation of a specific deliverable.
  • Able to design and determine applicable technical deliverables for a custom solution.
  • Ability to perform/drive resolution of problems raised through the designed process of custom technology solutions.
  • Able to communicate broad and specific concepts with team and to peers.
  • Able to produce documentation for use by stakeholders and customers.

  • Technology certifications issued by HPE (Tech Pro ATP/ASE), Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, Broadcom, Marvell, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon AWS, CompTIA, Vmware, Nutanix
  • Project Management Certifications (i.e. PMP, Six Sigma, ITIL, Scrum)
