Hexcel is currently seeking a Non CDL Driver/Material Packaging for our Amesbury, MA location.
Pay Range: $21.50 - $26.50 per hour
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Deliver items to and from various locations.
- Safely load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are secure during transport.
- Verify recipient details upon delivery and obtain signatures for proof of delivery as well as maintain delivery logs and records.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle for mechanical issues and ensure it is clean and safe for operation.
- Address any issues or complaints that arise during the delivery process, such as damaged goods or delays
- Responsible for storing incoming goods, releasing goods from storage, and loading goods for transport.
- Performs common Warehouse tasks, cleaning, safety checks on equipment, etc.
- Stage material appropriately in preparation of loading and shipping for final delivery and maintain the stock levels of packaging materials.
- Active participation in cycle counting and physical inventory processes.
- Conduct duties in a manner that promotes safety and complies with all OSHA standards.
- Final packaging and labeling of finished products ready to ship.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, required.
- Previous experience in driving a box truck preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to delivery schedules
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry heavy items as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods of time.
- Must have good attention to detail.
- Fork Lift experience preferred
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
