Job Description:
The Director of Training and Education is a key strategic role within the Nobel Biocare management group. The Director of Training & Education is responsible for the development and implementation of educational and training strategies and tactics that coincide with company direction. Nobel Biocare is a leading educational organization where programs are developed and executed at a level that represents the companies market leadership. Education is a key driver in generating uptake among technologies, products and procedures that Nobel Biocare offers and requires exceptional planning and execution to be successful. The role requires cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Sales, among other departments as well as Regional Steering Committee for the global T&E organization in Zurich, Switzerland.
Work/responsibilities regularly span multiple job families within this job group. Develops and executes comprehensive marketing, business development, brand and external communication strategies, tactical plans and programs to optimize market share and profitability. Identifies, develops and maintains customer and partner relationships and meet service requirements. Partners cross-functionally (e.g., with sales). Leads market research to assess current and future market conditions, competitive product, service and pricing practices and changing customer/prospect dynamics in order to influence new product/service development. Includes Marketing Operations. Plans, develops and manages marketing events (e.g., trade shows, conventions, sales meetings) for internal and/or external clients.
Job Requirements:
- Manages the Training & Education department
- Oversees all aspects of the training center including the surgical suite, sterilization and treatment
rooms and laboratory training rooms
- Manage key customer relationships and external support staff including Advisory Council and Speakers
- Manage Speaker contracts with Legal team
- Lead Key Expert & Future Leader engagement initiatives and programs
- Build additional structure and standard work around speaker management and speaker development
- Build key expert speakers around upcoming innovations and deploy strategically in T&E programs,
events and in the regions
- Work collectively with the Manager of T&E to incorporate systems for enhanced efficiency with
increasing number of programs to support
- Identify upcoming talented speakers and bring them into the Nobel Biocare network
- Manage relationship with Seattle Study Club including adding new Clubs per our agreement
- Develop and manage departmental budgets
- Strategically align departmental activities with marketing plans
- Evaluate rapidly changing trends in North America in Dental Education
- Ensure training and education programs are perceived as value added by customers and strive for
continuous improvement of evaluation scores
- Transform North American go to market innovation approach into education
- Develop alternative platforms for learning - Video, webinars, Online, etc.
- Maintain certification with ADA and AGD for CEU's
- Set targets and measure KPIs
- Work cross functionally with departments locally and globally
Target Market Salary Range:
Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
