Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is Maintaining Navy Medical Logistics Command (NMRLC) Test Environment (Servers/workstations/ peripherals). Additional responsibilities include:
• Availability to travel 15% of time. (Testing events)
• MS Server & Workstation administration
• Maintaining Navy Medical Logistics Command (NMRLC) Test Environment (Servers/workstations/ peripherals)
• Maintaining installation procedures for NMRLC Applications
• Applying security updates and patches to test systems
• Scheduling on-base visits with vendors for security updates and patches to test systems
• Communicates with parties within and outside of own job function. May have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.)
• Running Security scans on test systems
• Applying STIGs to test systems
• Supporting AI engineering with technical documentations
• Providing system diagrams to ISSM/AI
• Developing AI Test Procedures
• Supporting AI test events in Norfolk, VA and San Diego, CA
• Full accountability for the execution and delivery of multiple projects as related to testing, and security of network environments and administration
• Managing client, customer relationships
• Prepare and deliver customer deliverables and scope execution requirements established by customer
• Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measures
• Ability to move equipment weighing 50 pounds with mechanical assistance (dollies) for shipping.
Secondary responsibility for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Navy Medicine Online (NMO) Fleet Support
• Providing Tier 1 and 2 customer support to end-users via phone, email, and chat.
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving issues with NMO login and access to NMO by following SOP documentation to:
o activate someone in application.
o review and confirm a SAAR-N is filled out and signed properly for access.
o contact designated POC for confirmation that access should be granted.
o re-activate an account as needed.
o forward requests beyond Tier2 capability to team as needed for resolution.
• Assist with developing, creating and modifying Fleet Support knowledge base documentation and procedures.
Qualifications:
Required:
• A current US Citizen with an Active Secret clearance
• Security+ Certification – must be obtainable within 90 days of employment
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and products such as VMWare, AWS, COMPOSE, and remote administration tools.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert -MCSE would be viewed as beneficial.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and database queries.
• Six (6) years of experience in Engineering, Systems Analysis, Medical Systems, Information Assurance, Web Development, or Engineering Management including: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, System/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements.
• Three (3) years of technical experience in support of information assurance/network protection or virtualization projects. Note: Experience may be concurrent.
• Able to work with technical IT personnel, understand technical tasking, and explain technical activities to non-technical individuals

• Develop and maintain software requirements as it relates to Network Administration
• System Test and Evaluation, planning execution and management
• Demonstrated writing/editing skills
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarization with Naval networks (CANES, COMPOSE, TSCE, etc)

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$75,200-$158,100
