Product Manager, NIR and process FTIR Spectroscopy

Join our team as a Product Manager to build new product visions for the NIR and FTIR Gas portfolio.
Join the Vibrational Spectroscopy team as a Product Manager to aid product line growth. Collaborate with skilled scientists and engineers to provide solutions to the scientific community worldwide.
Office-based role at our Madison, WI site with some domestic and international travel.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for successful product launches
- Engage with field teams (sales, tech support) through training and involvement in sales activities.
- Proactively gather industry, market, competitor, supplier, and product intelligence
- Research and develop new market applications within the portfolio
- Work with the team on projects within product management and with other functional collaborators across the organization.
- Develop scientifically current content for marketing materials and training of commercial teams
- Conduct and/or coordinate product and application training as needed.
- Other Portfolio Management duties, or other related duties, as needed on an ongoing basis.
- Develop long-term product strategies and engage in financial planning for future product platform positioning, expansion, and advancement.
- Drive actions to improve revenue, margin, customer engagment , and market share objectives.
- Lead the life cycle of the existing for the product portfolio.

- Able to collaborate effectively with technical scientists, engineers, and clients
- Able to recognize business opportunities, achieve objectives and develop the strong working relationships required for success
- Capable of researching industries, applications, customers, and market trends to be able to draw meaningful conclusions for solution development
- Outstanding problem-solving skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (M.S./M. A.) in a Chemistry, Material Science or engineering related field from a four-year college or university or higher degree.
- M.B.A is a plus.
Experience
- 5+ years experience in capital equipment product management, product applications and OEM Business Development role
- 5+ years experiences in spectroscopic applications and implementation.
- Process analytical technology(PAT) experience a plus
- Chemometric experience is a plus
