Motorola Solutions Connectivity NG9-1-1 Routing Services is a portfolio of products and services that deliver the critical elements needed to enable and operate a Next Generation 9-1-1 Core Services (NGCS) solution. The call and multimedia routing subsystem technology is known as VESTA® Router. VESTA® Router is responsible for receiving incoming emergency calls, voice, SMS, and multimedia, in a NENA i3 SIP format from the originating service provider (OSP). The VESTA® NG9-1-1 Call Routing Service is specifically designed and engineered to provide a scalable solution that accommodates both legacy and Next Generation call routing.
Job Description
Candidates can reside anywhere within the United States with access to air travel. This position allows remote access from a home office with 25-50% travel to customer sites.
As the technical authority on a Next Generation Core Services project, the candidate will:
- Works with customer to understand overall solutions needs and functionality of MSI and third party applications.
- Takes ownership of the technical solution from pre and post-sale.
- Works with the project manager to develop the project deployment schedule.
- Identify technical risks of the projects and works with PM on mitigation plans.
- Identify customer expectation mismatch to how products work and works with PM on mitigation plans.
- Technical counterpart with the PM in third party vendor, customer, and internal facing meetings.
- Owns project change control as it pertains to the overall technical solution.
Target Base Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,00 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements
- 3-5 years field related and engineering experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
- Legal authorization to work in Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) controlled areas by passing local and federal background checks
